Dr. Ergenzinger has been a keynote and invited speaker on a variety of legal and scientific topics.

He has presented talks at regional, national, and international conferences, including meetings of the Biotechnology Industry Organization, Society for Neuroscience, Southeast BIO, Virginia Bio, the North Carolina Biotechnology Center, the Council for Entrepreneurial Development, and the North Carolina Bar Association.

Dr. Ergenzinger has also presented numerous talks at leading academic institutions, including Wake Forest University, Duke University, Vanderbilt University, University of Virginia, Virginia Tech, Emory University, North Carolina Central University, University of California at San Francisco, Johns Hopkins University, Yale University, and Stanford University.

Particular areas of interest and expertise include mental health and wellness in the legal profession, alternative emergency response programs for mental health crises, substance abuse and recovery, and living with serious mental illness.
